Fuel Finding Paste

Fuel indicating paste shows fuel level in a tank. Wipe a thin film of paste on a gauging stick and lower it to the bottom of the tank. When you remove the stick, the lavender colored paste will change color where it is contacted by fuel and will show as red. For more information see Bulletin No. 71

Water Finding Paste

Kolor Kut Water Finding Paste is golden brown in color and turns brilliant red upon contact with water. This water finding paste will successfull gauge water content in all petroleum and hydrocarbons as well as sulphuric acid, nitric acid, hydrocloric ammonia, soap solutions, salt and other chloride solutions. Modified Water Finding Paste

Paste changes from dark brown to bright red on contact with water. Phase separated alcohol solutions with as little as 6% water will turn the paste yellow. This product is designed for the use in reformulated and oxygenated fuel systems. After testing, it seems that alcohol or deicing agents in fuels have very little effect on the performance of the product.

Water Finding Paste

McCabe Water Level Indicator is green in color; when the paste is immersed for 30 seconds or more, it will change to a shade of red in the presence of free water. For more information see Bulletin No. 71
